Something for Everyone
The Village Hall is host to various regular activities such as our Coffee Mornings, Plants & Produce, Book Share, Litter Picks, Film Nights, Yoga, Children’s Parties and Tribute Acts.
In the picture Maggie and Annis are preparing drinks and snacks in our licensed bar ready for Film Night.
Do you have an event in mind?
We are currently embarking on a programme to raise the profile of the Hall in order to get it used more by the local and wider community.
The picture shows some of our wonderful volunteer Litter Pickers, keeping our community clean and tidy.
Bookshare
Our Bookshare is located in the conservatory. We have some wonderful books for you to enjoy!
Litter Pick
Our Litter Pickers do an incredible job and are often out for over an hour each pick! Everyone welcome!
Defibrillator
Our community defibrillator is located in the conservatory. We also hold defibrillator training.
Our Wildlife
We are always mindful about our environment and those we share it with.
In our planting we try to grow pollinator friendly shrubs and plants.
We also have a bat box and some bird boxes strategically placed around the Hall.
The photo taken by Rob shows our lavender plants providing a pollen rich food source for our bees.
For the future
Any ideas for the future would be very welcome.
Our goal is to make the Hall the centre for community activities in Gwehelog, alongside our excellent local pub, The Hall Inn.
A BIG THANK YOU to all our volunteers who make Gwehelog Village Hall possible.
